PERSONAL SPACE ESTHETICS
Rebecca Reali is a local esthetician who recently decided to go full-time with her own practice, Personal Space Esthetics. She approached me needing a logo and website designed. She wanted her brand to communicate her attitude toward body care: relaxed, gender affirming, body positive, and foul-mouthed.
Mermaid imagery was meaningful to Rebecca, but she worried it could be alienating to non-binary and masculine folks. So, beginning with art nouveau and feminist punk as points of inspiration, we worked together to develop an aesthetic and logo that speaks to everyone’s inner Merson.
